| A team of 30 women from the UK office of Fujitsu Siemens Computers raised over £4 000 by participating in Cancer Research’s Race for Life. They ran the five kilometres with over 8 000 other women, with 750 000 taking part nationally. The sum, which was matched by the company, was raised in memory of a colleague who lost her battle with cancer in 2005. Liz King, Mid Market Telesales Manager, who co-ordinated the UK team said “I was proud to be part of this great team event. It was one of the most emotional but rewarding experiences of my life, which I am sure the rest of the girls will share.” |
