FLEXFRAME™ FOR ORACLE

FlexFrame™ for Oracle

FlexFrame for Oracle is a pre-integrated IT infrastructure that dynamically assigns servers to Oracle services for database and application server on demand. Oracle software and operating system are on a central storage system and can be started on any server in the FlexFrame pool within minutes reducing installation and maintenance dramatically. It is a unique solution for consolidating Oracle on industry standard platforms that can grow in small steps without unnecessary pre-investments. Peak loads are compensated quickly by the addition of extra systems. Should a server fail the Oracle service is automatically restarted on another system. Its modularity makes FlexFrame an ideal platform for Oracles Grid Computing and SOA strategy.
"As Service Oriented Architectures gain increasing importance, the need for infrastructures with the ability to dynamically allocate resources to services grows. Fujitsu Siemens Computers has been a pioneer in delivering Service Oriented Infrastructures with FlexFrame Solutions and builds on its portfolio of Service Oriented Infrastructures with FlexFrame for Oracle.
FlexFrame for Oracle is a complete solution consisting of hardware, software and services, and it is already in use by several customers."
