The inventory management of all your IT company assets requires asset tags with the inventory number affixed to the systems. These numbers can include information like order number, system components data and/or information given by you. Due to its uniqueness the MAC address is also suited as an inventory number.
By taking over a part of your inventory, this results in a substantial time saving on your part. All you have to do is the following:
- You can either supply us with the pre-printed labels or
- you send us a list with the relevant numbers, which we then print onto the labels in barcode format 39.
The numbers are affixed to the systems during the production cycle. They appear additionally outside on the package label, thereby ensuring that the necessary information for the rollout is immediately available to the customer without unpacking or searching.

Easy installation and administration of computers in large networks |
The uniqueness of the MAC-address can be utilized in several different ways. Both make inventory management easier:
- Knowing the MAC-address and the serial number of a system, you can easily find out where a particular system is located in the network.
- As this MAC-address is unique worldwide, you can also use it as your asset number.
The MAC-address can be printed on the power rating plate, or as a separate tag on the PC and on the carton. On request, we also print the MAC-address on the delivery note. As the integration of the PCs into the network happens with little effort, the rollout is simplified significantly. The MAC-address does not have to be read out manually of each particular system, which saves time and money.
