BIOS settings to suit your needs !
|
The user-definable CMOS settings play an important role in how the systems behave. With these variables you can for example, optimize the performance of the system or reduce the noise level of the fan(s). Each system leaving our factory has a standard set of CMOS settings which we consider to be a good solution for each customer. As not all customers are "average" customers, they may require customer specific settings. Therefore, we offer a service for individually defining the CMOS settings according to their individual requirements:
- Predefined passwords in order to make sure that access to confidential data is restricted to authorized employees only.
- Individual control of the boot sequence in order to control the procedure centrally via LAN, or for instance in order to set predefined storage volumes.
- Settings for the power management inter alia offer possibilities for power-saving, like perhaps a reduction of the time to switch over to the sleep mode.
The advantage for you is that thanks to the setting of the CMOS values ex factory, you will not be troubled with later changes involving additional work and perhaps even a heightened error risk. Moreover, all the systems within a project will all boot in the same manner, regardless of the settings which were initially chosen.
All you have to do, is to provide us with the appropriate CMOS listing including all his requirements for a specific BIOS release. These are firstly evaluated on a test system and then integrated into manufacturing process. In order to do this, the corresponding BIOS release has to be frozen. |
