RTP4 Continuous Services™

Customer Value through Continuous Service

RTP4CS (Resilient Telco Platform for Continuous Services) is a software solution that addresses users who need to achieve a true, permanent availability of their applications (99.999%). RTP4CS requires no modifications to the operating system or database. Instead, RTP4CS works on top of a normal, off-the-shelf Solaris or Linux system in a standard cluster environment, offering an additional level of functionality. The single system image provided by RTP4CS makes the application independent of the complexity of the underlying hard- and software and especially of the current system configuration. Thus the application can be unaware that it is part of a cluster, which makes developing applications easier. The location of the resources within the cluster is completely transparent to the application and RTP4CS takes care, that they are available at all times, no matter where they are actually located.

RTP4CS does not interfere with conventional applications that may run unchanged and fully binary compatible on the same system. This gives maximum flexibility to developers and users because RTP4CS simply adds functionality to the well-known system environment.

Hundreds of RTP4CS installations around the world deliver carrier-grade availability of 99.999% with resilience towards software and hardware failures. Telecommunication Equipment Manufacturers (TEM) and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) have built RTP-based products that process Millions of calls and Intelligent Network services day by day.
