The next generation of the FibreCAT-CX series convinces not only with higher hardware performance, but also with an expansion of the software functionalities: the main focus is to keep the established, intuitive user interface. The FibreCAT CX500, CX3-20, CX3-40 and CX3-80 perfectly fits to UNIX and Windows storage consolidation environment of Fujitsu Siemens Computers Servers and other vendors products. New is that also the entry-level system FibreCAT CX300 can now be connected to UNIX servers. So there is a new, high performance entry level product to connect to Fujitsu Siemens Computers PRIMEPOWER systems.
FibreCAT’s operating system is FLARE, it supports a vast range of different operating systems:
Microsoft Windows NT/2000/2003, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, IBM AIX, Novell Netware, Tru64, UNIX as well as Linux.
