Navisphere Manager is the foundation for consolidated storage management. The easy to use and intuitive interface is being used throughout the whole FibreCAT family. This saves time and additional training costs. With access via web-browser you get the possibility to securely administer the system form anywhere at any time.
SnapView™ software is meant for high data security in the local array. For that there are two different possibilities, Snapshot views and business continuance volumes (BCVs).
The first with only a fracture of disk space can be created or deleted immediately and gives an overview of your data to specific point-in-times. There is no host influence and the separate saved snapshots can be handled by other application, queries etc. with read/write access.
BCVs are full image copies of your file system and are used for recovering your original data. These continuous backups prevent data losses.
MirrorView™ provides highly available data mirroring synchronously or asynchronously over distance. MirrorView runs on the high-performance FibreCAT systems, so there will be no impact on other applications During planned or unplanned downtime the information availability will be granted continuously.
SAN Copy™ is a FibreCAT-based software for copying and moving data between two FibreCAT systems, FibreCAT and Symmetrix systems from different 3rd party products from HPQ, IBM and Sun to a FibreCAT CX500. Neither server-cycles nor LAN- bandwidth will be impacted, so the business continuity during the data exchange will be granted. SAN Copy is ideal for fast transmission of big data amount in SAN or WAN.
PowerPath™ optimizes the I/O data path between server and storage. It distributes the I/O processes of many data paths and so elevates the efficiency by decreasing the costs for storage administration. If a data path fails, PowerPath will administer and control the alternatives. The application and transmission continue without any interruption.
Access Logix™ connects multiple heterogenous hosts with FibreCAT systems. With that the FibreCAT is optimal for data consolidation on departmental layer. Easy and efficient access control protects your data.
PRIMERGY DuplexDataManager® is a software solution for PRIMERGY Server, which allows to manage storage subsystems over long distance. PRIMERGY DuplexDataManager is the perfect addition to cluster-configuration for WinNT, Win2000, Win2003 or Linux to built up catastrophe tolerant configurations. This product consists of 2 different components:
DuplexWrite mirrors data to a further remote storage subsystem (mirroring) and MultiPath ensures redundant data paths to the subsystem.
