Automated backup and restore of Oracle databases |
NetWorker Module PLUS for Oracle is the interface between NetWorker and the database server. It provides easy to use high performance online and offline backup and restore of Oracle databases with and without usage of Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN); as preferred by the user. Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle or RMAN is not required. NetWorker Scheduler and Archiving Monitor start backup processes automatically. NetWorker Module PLUS for Oracle can automatically recover defective database files if inconsistencies are detected. It is the only Oracle backup tool that supports SAP CCMS, so that the SAP administrator can fully control backup runs. NetWorker Module PLUS for Oracle automatically identifies which files have to be backed up. In order to take account of the sensitive redolog files, it includes a special archiving monitor which monitors the redolog directories. Thus, consistent backups and problem-free data recovery are ensured. NetWorker Module PLUS for Oracle is the preferred backup solution for FlexFrame for SAP und FlexFrame for Oracle.
