Massive compute power, a resilient system architecture, flexible resource control features, and the advanced capabilities of the Solaris 10 OS combine in SPARC® Enterprise server M4000 to provide organizations a best-in-class enterprise platform.

SPARC Enterprise M5000

Compared to the model M4000 the M5000 scales up to 8 SPARC64VI dual core sockets thus having up to 16 cores, with the same mission-critical features. The SPARC® Enterprise Server M5000 is the key to lowering your TCO and decreasing IT complexity by exactly covering your individual needs and save unnecessary headroom costs from the very start.

SPARC® Enterprise Servers with their specific models T1000, T2000, M4000, M5000, M8000 and M9000 are the result of the Sun and Fujitsu joint co-operation. SPARC Enterprise Servers are sold and marketed from Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu Ltd. and Fujitsu Siemens Computers under the respective company brands but are technically and functionally completely identical in construction and therefore 100% compatible in hardware and firmware.
