Fujitsu Siemens Computers strengthens UK enterprise channel with appointment of leading UNIX reseller, Peritech Solutions plc as Enterprise Partner

- Peritech to target £1 million sales of Solaris-based PRIMEPOWER servers during next 12 months
- Focus on public sector, banking, manufacturing, media and telecoms markets

Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European vendor of secure Business Critical Computing and Mobility solutions, has strengthened its enterprise sales channel in the UK with the appointment of Peritech Solutions plc as an accredited Enterprise Reseller. Peritech is one of the UK's leading resellers of SPARC server systems, and will work with Fujitsu Siemens Computers to drive sales of its Solaris-based PRIMEPOWER servers into key market sectors including investment banking, government, manufacturing, media and telecoms. According to Peritech's Managing Director, Rob Bokros, the company is targeting more than £1 million of Fujitsu Siemens Computers PRIMEPOWER sales during the next 12 months.
 
Peritech is an established and expanding enterprise systems reseller, and will support its PRIMEPOWER-based Solaris solutions with a full portfolio of professional services for Business Critical Computing. Peritech has also developed its own distinctive Solaris-based portal for local government organisations, giving them a single Internet-based interface that provides public sector users with more effective access to key public sector enterprise applications. Peritech's portal solution ideally positions the company to help public sector operations meet the Government's target of offering and managing services online by 2005, and will provide a strong driver for PRIMEPOWER sales into the public sector over the coming months.
