Welcome! |
Enterprise Service-Oriented-Architecture is not a product, but an approach to IT that permits faster, more economical creation and deployment of business processes to meet needs as they arise. SAP introduced Enterprise SOA to describe a basic concept for service-based business applications that offer a higher level of agility, flexibility and openness. This makes it easier to deploy and improve new business processes in the IT environment. SAP NetWeaver 2004s and SAP® ERP 2005 make up the technology platform for SAP’s Enterprise SOA. |
The logical product of Enterprise SOA |
The basic principle behind SOA - or Enterprise SOA - is to turn monolithic dedicated applications into independent services that can be used as and combined to form new and innovative business processes (so-called composite applications). Dynamic Data Center from Fujitsu Siemens Computers is based on the same idea. After all, breaking down the rigid boundaries between hardware and software makes it possible to create independent resources. This frees up processing, storage and network capacity to provide flexible support for business processes. As a result, these resources are not only used to meet the current needs of business processes in terms of performance and availability but are available for other applications when not in use. In any case, that’s the theory. But Fujitsu Siemens Computers has convincingly demonstrated that this theory also functions perfectly in actual practice with its Dynamic IT solutions for key areas of enterprise IT. For example, with Dynamic IT for SAP. |
