Fujitsu Siemens Computers Announces an Exchange Program for Notebook Batteries |
| AMILO A, AMILO M and AMILO Pro V2020 models impacted |
Munich, June 15, 2005 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers announced a proactive exchange program on batteries in specific AMILO notebook products. The company took the decision to implement the exchange program after receiving a very limited number of customer reports of a defect in the batteries. The company recommends that on specific models, customers should stop using the batteries immediately, and operate their notebook on AC power only. This exchange program will provide a replacement battery free of charge.
