Finding new ways of delivering product-related, managed and client lifecycle management services is key to competitor differentiation and success.
Auto Immune Systems (AIS) extend our managed services capability for high-availability IT operations. AIS automatically protect companies against system failure and now include a new Service Engine, which makes corrections to the IT infrastructure before downtime occurs. This proactive immunization can reduce service calls by up to 40 per cent.
We have also developed the Universal Tele Service (UTS) – a service technology that allows us to remotely access PCs at the customer site. We now use UTS to monitor and maintain PCs as part of our managed services offering.
Another major breakthrough is DeskView Load, which allows us to customize desktops in the factory before they are shipped so that the customer can just plug the machines and go once they arrive on site. We now use this for our client lifecycle management services, saving up to 40% on rollout costs.
