| | Corporate Compliance Program |
 |
| |
Upon its formation in 1999, Fujitsu Siemens Computers introduced a company-wide Ethics Policy, fundamentally reflecting both our corporate values and culture and our “We make sure” philosophy. The Ethics policy lays out integrity guidelines for all employees, emphasizing a wide range of issues, from the importance of mutual respect and honesty, to fair competition and the confidential handling of information as well as health and safety in the workplace.
In April 2008, our Ethics Policy was developed into the more comprehensive Corporate Compliance Program. This Program focuses primarily on the prevention, detection and handling of criminal misconduct by company employees, but also covers conflict of interest issues that may be raised by individuals within the company.
As part of the Program, every employee is responsible for ensuring that his/her work related activities for FSC comply with the law and with our Ethics Policy. The Program is overseen by a Corporate Compliance Officer and, to ensure that anonymous reporting of criminal misconduct is possible, an external Ombudsman is also available. |
